Hi Rica,
I need you to help me figure this out. I am a sexually active female and I’ve been doing it for the past two years.
Last week, I think that I experienced my first orgasm, but I was not having any intercourse.
I’m confused as to how I really felt was an orgasm or is it something else? Can orgasm happen kahit walang sex?
Confused O
Hi Confused O!
Congratulations on your first orgasm! Please don’t think that there’s something wrong with you! In fact, something’s right with you! Yahooo!!!
There are many ways to achieve orgasm, and it’s not just intercourse. You can be flying solo, or enjoying oral sex, or even just experiencing pleasure through the stimulation of your erogenous zones.
Most women have their first experience of the big O not through intercourse but through solo pleasure.
There are even women who experience orgasm even without the sexual part – through exercising, dancing, even through brushing their teeth!
To top it off, there are women who can make themselves come to the big O just by thinking, dreaming, and fantasizing – even without the physical stimulation! Think wet dream for men. Women can have those too!
Usually, an orgasm happens after a build up of sexual tension and you feel different sensations – shortness of breath, sweating, body vibrations, need to moan. This is the usual case if the orgasm happens through a sexual activity.
But if the orgasm is spontaneous, and caused by fantasizing and thinking, the other sensations may not be strong enough to be felt. However, what you will feel are the contractions that occur in the lower part of the vagina, the uterus, and sometimes in the anus.
For women, orgasms can last up to 20 seconds!
Through time, you’ll figure out that there are certain ways that could make you reach the big O faster and more easily than others.
Like other skills, it takes practice and knowing your body to achieve this. So go ahead, use your imagination and experiment and may you have more orgasms to come! #takeitfromthesexymind.
