The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned of possible flash floods or landslides over Visayas, Bicol Region and Southern Luzon that can be triggered by a low pressure area (LPA) in the vicinity of Southern Leyte.
Moderate to occasional heavy rains and thunderstorms may affect Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Palawan, Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Visayas.
Meanwhile, it will bring light to moderate rains over Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Bukidnon, Misamis Occidental, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur and Dinagat Islands.
PAGASA estimated the location of the LPA in the vicinity of Sogod, Southern Leyte before Tuesday noon.
Meanwhile, the tail-end of cold front will bring moderate to occasional heavy rains over Quezon province, which may also trigger flash floods and landslides.
This weather system will also bring light to moderate rains over Aurora, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon.
