Actress-singer Isabel Granada was finally laid to rest after her remains were cremated in Greeenhills, Mandaluyong City yesterday afternoon.
Granada was also given full military honors for serving the Philippines Air Force (PAF) for two years, the second time she was given such honor when her remains came home.
Arnel Cowley, partner of Isabel; Hubert Thomas Jericho Granada Aguas, son of Isabel and former husband Geryk Genasky Aguas bid their last goodbyes to Granada who shot to fame in 1990s.
Following the cremation at 2 p.m., family members and friend went back to the Santuario de San Jose in Greenhills, the same place where the wake of Isabel was held.
On Oct. 24, the 41-year-old television star was rushed to a hospital in Qatar after she collapsed while attending the Philippine Trade and Tourism Conference 2017.
Doctors said that Isabel suffered from a brain hemorrhage which indicates aneurysm and in turn affected her heart. Isabel went comatose until she passed away last Nov. 4.
The remains of Isabel arrived from Doha, Qatar at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Parañaque City last Nov. 9.
