For the first time, action star Robin Padilla has finally met his grandson Baby Alas, son of actors Aljur Abrenica and daughter Kylie Padilla, since he was born in August.
Mariel Rodriguez, wife of Robin, was also seen on the video greeting Kylie and her son Alas during the visit.
But Aljur was not on the video posted by Robin, raising speculations that the two celebrities were still not on speaking terms. Robin did not even mention the name of Aljur on his caption.
“Actually, hindi ko alam eh. Hindi pa po kami nakakapag-usap. Kung may nagawa man po ako na sa tingin n’yo ay hindi maganda, parang naging kasalanan ko, humihingi na po ako ng sorry sa inyo,” said Abrenica, when asked if he has talked to Robin since he and Kylie got engaged, during a recent interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS CBN.
Aljur also apologized to Robin and vowed to take care of her daughter Kylie.
Aljur said that he will continue to reach out to Robin until everything is settled.
“Pero OK naman kami. Through Kylie, nagkakaroon ng komunikasyon. Pero Tito Robin, andito lang po ako. sana bukas po yung pintuan nyo (para sa akin),” he said.
Abunda advised him and his partner Kylie not to get tired of reaching out to Robin. “In God’s good time, the best will happen.”
When Kylie told his father that she was pregnant last January, Robin told him: “‘O, anak, ha, alagaan mo ‘yan.’”
