Despite his resignation, Transportation Undersecretary Cesar Chavez still has the duty to fully disclose the reasons why he gave up his post while trying to do his best to address the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 crisis.
Quezon City Rep. Winston Castelo commended Chavez for citing “delicadeza” or propriety for resigning his post.
But the solon is not convinced that delicadeza is the only reason that pushed Chavez to turn over his resignation papers.
Castelo, chairman of the House Committee on Metro Manila Development, said something does not add up in his sudden move as the Department of Transportation official was considered effective in reforming the accident-prone MRT 3.
