‘SEQUEL’ – Like Highspeed’s item on brothers, the one on sisters has a sequel of sorts.

Let’s start with the colorful and controversial Barretto sisters – Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine.

Gretchen isn’t active onscreen, apparently devoting her time and attention to partner Tonyboy Cojuangco and daughter Dominique. Same with Marjorie, now better known as the mother of Julia Barretto. Too bad that Claudine is also inactive. She’s the most accomplished of the Barretto sisters. Think of her films like “Nasaaan Ka Man,” “Dubai,” “Milan.” She was teleserye queen in the ‘90s.

The wonderful daughters of Don Ramon and sisters of Bong Revilla: Andeng (First lady of Antipolo, wife of Mayor Jun Ynares), Rowena, Princess, and Diana.

The Aquino sisters: Kris, Ballsy, Viel, and Pinky. Kris is widely read in social media…and is occupied with her businesses.

How about the Isidro sisters? The gutsy Agot, Tina, and Olive.

Can’t help but pass on this joke. One time, President Marcos complained to Ambassador Nicanor Jimenez about his two daughters. “Nick, what kind of daughter do you have? One is subversive and the other thrash.

Inday was hurt and cried on the shoulder of Douglas Quijano, a dear friend. “Douglas, subversive ba ako?” Enough said.
