PDBA-Moneytyte of Pampanga and CADBA-GIB 1 showed the way in the ongoing PHIDBC (Philippine Duckpin Bowling Council) National Open championships at the Marketplace Center along Kanlaon St., Mandaluyong City.
The PDBA bowlers rolled 1063 pinfalls to pace INCIRBA-VICE by 26 pins in the men’s team event while CADBA-GIB carded 974 lead D’Friendly Bells by 41 pins in the ladies’ division.
ARIBA Herglo 2 ranked third in the men’s competition with 1023, followed by CADBA 1 (1012) and MTC DBC (1011).
PCBC posted 932 to check in third in the ladies’ event, followed by BIDBA-ANTHENA (926) AND TIGER lADIES (925).
Joebet Fajardo of D’Friendly and Ruby Villamil of INCIRBA set the pace in the men’s and ladies’ singles competition, respectively.
Fajardo tallied 441 to finish ahead of UPDBC’s Robert Arrobang (436) and Francis Tagura (414), BIDBA’s Floyd San Jose (407) and Raymond Certeza (400).
Villamil collected 395 pins to lead Lily Dino (374), Ayza Halabaso (374), Gemma Alcira (371) and Mai Acido (370).
Gift certificates worth more than R300 and trophies are at stake in the kegfest which ends on December 3.
