Games Today (The Arena, San Juan City)
4 p.m. – Cignal vs Victoria Sports-UST
6 p.m – Iriga City vs F2 Logistics
F2 Logistics hopes to erase the stigma of a recent heartbreaker when it guns for the top seeding in the quarterfinals today of the 2017 Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at The Arena in San Juan City.
Toting a 6-1 win-loss record at third, a victory over the Iriga City Lady Oragons in their 6 p.m. tussle would assure the Cargo Movers the No. 1 spot in the next round due to a superior quotient over the Foton Tornadoes and the Petron Blaze Spikers.
So far, F2 Logistics has only lost a total of four sets in the elimination round – one against Petron and three over Foton – to still make them a tough title contender.
Though reeling from a 17-25, 32-30, 25-9, 20-25, 16-14 loss to the Tornadoes that snapped their imposing six-game winning run, Cargo Movers mentor Ramil De Jesus believes they can bounce back.
