Malacañang yesterday urged Filipinos to be always on guard and coordinate with authorities following reports that another terror group is reportedly plotting to attack a certain city or area in Mindanao.
In a radio interview, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Martin Andanar confirmed that Daulah Islamiyah, an umbrella-type of armed militant group, is currently on a recruitment binge and is said to be planning to attack a still unverified city or area in Mindanao.
“There are reports that they are planning to invade a place in Mindanao, but we don’t know the place yet. That why the AFP and the PNP have issued stern warnings to our people in Mindanao to be very cautious and always be on guard,” Andanar said.
