Tanduay Alab Pilipinas hopes to shrug off a frustrating loss to defending champion Hong Kong Eastern when it shoots for an elusive first win against the Formosa Dreamers today in the ASEAN Basketball League at the Changhua Stadium in Taiwan.
Alab would like nothing more than to vent its ire on the Taiwanese side in the 3 p.m. after a frustrating 99-96 loss to Hong Kong last Wednesday on the road that saw coach Jimmy Alapag’s team squandering a 10-point third quarter.
The defeat put Alab in a dubious distinction as the first ABL team to start the season with a 0-3 record, a slump Alapag and his players are determined to end in the Taiwanese city of Changhua.
