Dear Rica,
Can you help me? I did a lot of self-pleasure during the break and the yesterday I saw that my tip is a bit swelled up. Parang namamaga na siya. Should I be worried?
Red Tip
Hello Red Tip!
Sorry to hear that you’re in a little bit of situation there.
The swelling that you have right now can be caused by a number of factors, from an inflammation to a serious medical condition.
If it has been more than a day, I would suggest that you to see a urologist to get checked. Minsan kasi, the swelling can be because of a serious complication and not just because of over-indulgence. Hindi kita tinatakot, pero mas maigi nang sigurado.
Other reasons for your swelling could be scratches, injuries, or allergic reactions from lotions and creams that you use during your solo session.
May ginamit ka ba na hindi mo usually ginagamit? Pwede kasing nairritate ka because of that. Inflammation from exposure to irritants (e.g. lotion, sabon, or other stuff that you might have used as a lubricant) can also make your tip swell.
What else? Dahil sabi mo rin na nasobrahan ka, meaning you played with yourself more than usual, pwedeng magkaroon ng cuts and burns from the friction of playing and these could cause the swelling. If you are uncircumcised, pwede ring magkaroon ng irritation from the foreskin.
Another reason could be a fungal infection of the tip or the foreskin. Is it the first time you experienced this? Or have you noticed ithciness and pagka-hapdi of your tip from time to time?
Other medical conditions such as phimosis (or masikip na foreskin), and paraphimosis (foreskin that can’t be pulled back) can also be the cause for your swelling.
Whatever you’re experiencing right now could really be from different factors and only a licensed medical doctor could determine for a fact if your more-than-usual masturbation is the cause. So it’s really best to see a doctor.
You also might want to abstain from solo pleasure or other sexual activities involving the penis until the area is not swelling anymore. Pwede naman maghanap ng ibang bagay na paglalaruan while healing. Good luck!

With love and lust,
Rica
