HOLDING ON TO JAMES: At the height of her depression in mid- 2017, Nadine Lustre held on to boyfriend James Reid, whom she now credits as the wind beneath her wings.
‘He has been so patient with me. He put up with my mood swings, never getting angry at me for getting angry at him all the time,’ the singer-actress disclosed during a recent media event. The conference was in line with the couple’s forthcoming concert, Revolution (February 9, Araneta Coliseum).
Note that the concert’s title jives with JaDine’s current vibe. In 2017, Nadine got bashed by critics and netizens for admitting that she had been living-in with James. The seemingly endless series of bashings depressed Nadine, whose depression naturally affected James.
Is Revolution, therefore, some kind of a platform to showcase the couple’s rebellion against social, Philippine norms?
JaDine explained that the word LOVE can be culled from REVOLUTION.
So, there.

NADINE DIRECTS JAMES: While known primarily as an actor, James considers himself really a musician – singer and songwriter. He won the Best Southeast Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
Nadine directed the music video of Reckless Love, a cut from James’ new album.
The actress has always dreamt of becoming a full-fledged director, having been a film student back in the day.
She hopes to direct a movie sometime in the future, with James as actor.

LOVE REMAINS SOLID: JaDine mounted the “ record-breaking” JaDine In Love” show held at the Big Dome in 2015. The concert came close on the heels of the high ratings then being enjoyed by their TV series “On The Wings Of Love.”
During the show, James confessed that he and Nadine were, indeed, in love, and that they had been a romantic couple all along.
James and Nadine have remained solid.
Revolution will feature their hits, “Bahala Na” and “Para-Paraan” among others. The show is produced by Viva Live.
Guests include Sarah Geronimo, Sam Concepcion, Kiana Valenciano, Bret Jackson, and Vice Ganda.

BUSY IN 2018: James and Nadine will take “Revolution” on a provincial tour in April and a US series in May.
In mid-January, the couple will fly to London to shoot their new movie, “Never Not Love You.”
The movie reunites JaDine with their ‘On The Wings Of Love” director Antonette Jadaone.
This will be followed by more movie projects this year. James will co-star with Sarah Geronimo in the big-screen comedy “The Granny (20 Again),” an adaptation of an Asian movie hit. He will also star in action-fantasy epic “Pedro Penduko.”

NADINE GOES SOLO, TOO: For her part, Nadine will act in two films minus James.
One of these is the light romance-comedy “Ulan” from the writer-director of “Camp Sawi,” Irene Villamor.
The other is the thriller “The Nurse” from the acclaimed director of “Die Beautiful,” Jun Robles Lana.
James and Nadine are also set to return to primetime television on ABS-CBN with a new teleserye to be directed by Dan Villegas.
