Malacañang is pushing for an Ombudsman inquiry on all persons implicated in the pork barrel scam, not just Senator Franklin Drilon who allegedly received P5 million from suspect Janet Lim Napoles.
Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said Napoles should also be allowed to speak out and prove her allegations against certain officials.
“We want the whole truth and nothing but the truth to come out of this PDAF scam,” Roque said.
“Janet Lim Napoles is the central figure in this scam. Let her speak, and I’m sure that in addition to what she has to say, she would have physical evidence to back up whatever it is that she alleges,” he added.
Roque made the remarks after Napoles revealed over state television that she contributed P5 million to Drilon’s campaign fund in the 2010 elections.
