There is a minimal chance of tropical cyclone development but the northeasterly windflow or “amihan” and tail-end of cold front will prevail throughout the week, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration.
The northeasterlies will prevail over Luzon and most parts of Visayas while the tail-end of cold front will continue to affect Northern and Eastern Luzon today.
PAGASA said passing light rains and isolated rain showers will be experienced over Northern Luzon, Isabela, and Aurora.
Scattered light rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt over the eastern portion of Visayas and Mindanao and isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Tomorrow, moderate to occasional strong northeasterlies will be experienced almost throughout the country while the tail-end of cold front continues to affect Eastern Luzon.
PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt over the eastern part of Isabela, Cagayan, Rizal, Quezon, Bicol, and Eastern Visayas. (Ellalyn V. Ruiz)
