The family of Boybits Victoria is seeking any help it can get after the former PBA player and current television and radio analyst was rushed to the hospital due to a rare condition known as an autoimmune disorder.
His brother Bing said on social media that the 1994 Rookie of the Year is in critical condition after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a condition that can cause paralysis.
Bing added that Boybits was put on a respirator to help him breathe, though the procedure may take at least a week.
The Victorias have also opened an account in case anyone seeks to provide financial aid.
Boybits does color work for the PBA’s radio coverage on 92.3 News FM and for ESPN5 in the PBA D-League and heads the sales department of Victoria Sports.
