NOW that he is cancer-free, vlogger and former “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) housemate Wil Dasovich has said that he wanted to spend more time with his girlfriend Alodia Gosiengfao.
“I’m still in remission ika nga. You have to wait for the first two years kasi that’s when it comes back for a lot of cancer patients,” said Dasovich, during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
“Yung dasal ko lang is to really enjoy the time you have. Na-realize ko throughout this whole process, importante talaga ‘yung time and nothing else.
“Money doesn’t really matter that much. It’s about time and who you really spend it with. Recently, my current girlfriend, she’s there. I just wanna spend much time with her as much as possible,” said Dasovich.
Upon returning to San Francisco after three years abroad in August 2017, Dasovich said that he had an internal bleeding which he apparently contacted from a parasite.
Later he was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. He underwent nine cycles of chemotherapy, the last one being in January 2018. In February, he said he is free from cancer.
The 26-year digital celebrity also thanked his girlfriend for being there with him. He looked back at how he met Gosiengfiao.
“Nung April of last year, actually we met bilang kalaban. We were up for social media awards. Influence Asia Awards.
Nakita ko sya sa airport and I saw her through my camera. Syempre sikat na sikat ito sa digital world. I have seen her here and there.
“I went up to her. Nakakahiya talaga kasi it’s all filmed. So super starstruck ako. I went to her and introduced myself. To my surprise, she told me that she saw me before because she caught one of my viral videos at that time.
“I couldn’t speak. All the footages there. So embarrassing, we just had a 20-minute conversation and in that 20-minute conversation nilabas namin ‘yung aspirations in life, how we started and what we want to do, what our values are, what we want to accomplish in life and ‘yung mga purpose namin. And it was the exact same, we just connect,” said Dasovich.
Asked if they were talking marriage, Dasovich said: “Syempre it’s possible. I definitely think she’s the one. I never met someone who made me feel this way. So we talked about it and we will be probably be together.”
Dasovich is also the nephew of ABS-CBN broadcaster Karen Davila. He joined the 13th season of PBB in 2016.
