A woman jumped to her death from the 18th floor of a condominium building after she inquired for a unit in Quezon City, Monday afternoon.
Investigators of the Quezon City Police District identified the fatality through her identification card as Kristine Obedoza, 32, a resident of East Fairview, Quezon City.
According to the sales agent and sales director of Victoria Tower D located at the corner of Mother Ignacia and Scout Rallos Streets, Obedoza approached them around 1:30 p.m. and inquired about a condo unit.
The two witnesses accompanied the victim to a room on the 18th floor of the building for the viewing of the actual unit.
While Obedoza was checking the room, she went to the second floor of the unit alone.
When one of the witnesses returned, she saw Obedoza standing on the balcony ledge, prompting her to seek help from her companion.
However, when they did not find Obedoza around the room, they reported the incident to the security guard who later told them that a woman fell from the said room.
Authorities said the victim died on the spot from severe head and body injuries.
