MEGASTAR Sharon Cuneta admitted that she and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan almost broke up many times as they celebrated their 24th year as a couple.
“We’ve been through way too much together. Almost broke up too many times…but in the end, I am his home, and he is mine. Too many memories we have made with each other and our children to just throw away… I have a renewed appreciation for Kiko,” said Cuneta on Instagram.
The actress pointed out that they never fought about women in those years.
“The mere fact that he and I have fought so many times over two decades – but NEVER over another woman – is a gift from God. No palpitations, no crying at night wondering where or with whom my husband may be – PRECIOUS,” she added.
The couple are now in Thailand with their children Frankie, Miel, and Miguel to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
“Our happy family in our happy place! THAILAND! Our kids have practically grown up coming here regularly. Yellie used to call any bed here ‘the tall bed.’ Our favorite secret beach town! Yippee!!! Kiko and I are celebrating our 24th year as boyfriend-girlfriend today!
“Thank God for a secure, supportive, simple, hardworking, God-fearing, faithful, devoted husband.
“Even if I want to murder my hubby sometimes, as I’m sure he sometimes wants to kill me too (with kisses. Yuuck! Hahaha!) – I suspect we will always be together.
“Happy Anniversary to one of the most decent men I know. Even if you are now my ex-boyfriend, I thank God I did not make you my ex-husband! I love you, Francis.
“I wish everyone could get to know you the way we all do. God be with you and all of us always. Thanks for being my dorky! And for being the best father to our four big gremlins!” said Cuneta.
New movie
Cuneta also said that she will start shooting a new movie in May.
While her fans await for the possible new Sharon-Gabby movie, Cuneta did not disclose her new co-stars in the latest project.
But based on her new post, it seemed that there is no Sharon-Gabby movie in the offing.
“Hi again! Meeting cancelled cos of change of plans of other people. I know na my next movie. Back to my original project. Haven’t worked with my partner in a long time!
“Should be fun! God took me where I should be. It’s all good! Thank You Lord! (Titas/Inang, sabi ko na si Empoy na lang eh! Bait-bait nun hahaha!),” Cuneta added.
Cuneta’s last film was the romantic-comedy “Unexpectedly Yours” in which she teamed-up with action star Robin Padilla. The movie earned around R300 million in box-office worldwide.
