ABS-CBN’s world-class talent search “Pilipinas Got Talent” was recently awarded with the Gold Creator Award by YouTube after hitting 1 million subscribers on its official channel.
“Pilipinas Got Talent” is the first Kapamilya show to have a million strong community in the video sharing website.
This proves that PGT not only dominates weekend programming but also conquers the online world as more and more netizens search and watch videos of the show’s audition and semi-finals performances. Every week, PGT also makes it to YouTube’s trending list with its videos earning millions of views in just a short period.
Meanwhile on Twitter, PGT is a consistent trending topic on weekends with its official hashtag on top of the list.
It also has a growing following on its official Instagram account, which some refers to as #feedgoals for its curated and well thought of posts.
During its pilot week, “Pilipinas Got Talent” already hit an all-time high national TV rating of 43.3%, one of the highest rating recorded by a weekend program for 2018.
As the semi-finals continues this week, the show gets closer and closer in completing its list of grand finalists.
