HAGONOY, Bulacan – Some five houses at Del Pilar Street in Barangay San Sebastian here were gutted by fire Saturday afternoon.
Senior Insp. Xeriel Tamayo, town fire marshal, said the fire started from an unattended cooking stove in the house of a certain Romeo Depano Jr. around 2 p.m.
The blaze, which reached the second alert level, also gutted a car and a tricycle. Estimated cost of damage was pegged at P2 million.
