KAWIT, Cavite – An eight-year-old boy died Monday when he was accidentally hit by a truck while crossing Covelandia Road in Barangay Polburista here.
The victim, identified as Rhiz Chan Aguilar Espiritu, suffered multiple injuries and was declared dead on arrival at the Binakayan Hospital.
The driver of the truck, identified as Loimie Galanzan Lima, 25, was arrested by police. Charge of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide is being readied against him.
