STO.TOMAS, Batangas – Ten hand grenades, supposedly of Japanese make, were found by construction employees working on a house here, Monday.
A police report said the explosives, believed to be of World War II (WWII) vintage, were discovered at around 2 p.m. inside the property of one Robinson Montero in Barangay San Agustin.
Meanwhile, an old undiffused bomb was also found inside the property of one Arim Lubrino in Barangay Sta. Clara here around 1:30 p.m. the same day. All of the explosives are now under the custody of the Bomb Squad of Region 4A. (Lyka Manalo)
