Criminal complaints have been filed before the Department of Justice (DoJ) against two policemen who were arrested for allegedly extorting money from drivers of buses and vans at illegal terminals in Pasay City.
The two arrested policemen – Police Officer 2 Jerry Adjani Jubail and Police Officer 1 Michael Domalanta, both assigned to the Malibay Police Community Precinct – were subjected to inquest proceedings before at the DoJ Wednesday afternoon for robbery-extortion under Article 294 of the Revised Penal Code.
They were arrested by operatives of the Philippine National Police- Counter-Intelligence Task Force (PNP-CITF) during an entrapment operation in Pasay City on Tuesday.
