Four suspected drug peddlers were arrested Thursday in a police buy-bust operation in Pandacan, Manila.
Police identified the suspects as Wilmer Alejandro, 35; Edwardo Zapeda, Jr., 34; Darwin Arcenas, 43; and Isidro Tudo, 26; all of Barangay 844, Zone 92, Pandancan.
Operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Pandacan Police Station (PS-10) and members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Regional Office conducted a buy-bust operation at around 12:30 a.m. against the suspects.
After a successful drug purchase, authorities arrested the suspects. However, one of the targets identified as Richard Velasco managed to escape.
Police recovered three pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1,500 from the suspects, who are now detained at PS-10.
