A man was arrested after allegedly stealing a mountain bike from a young boy Sunday in Pandacan, Manila. Police reports identified the suspect as Paul Toledo, 28, of #2077 Kahilum 2, Barangay 859, Zone 92, Pandacan, Manila.
Initial investigation revealed that the complainant, Rosita Bonaviente, 50, of Riverside, Kahilum 2, Barangay 859, Zone 92, Pandacan, Manila was tending to her three-year-old grandson inside their home on April 29 at around at around 7 p.m. when his other grandson, Stephen Bonaviente, suddenly rushed to her and reported that their mountain bike was missing.
Bonaviente immediately went outside and found out that her grandson’s mountain bike, reportedly parked outside, was indeed missing.
The two then went to the barangay office and requested officials to view the circuit television (CCTV) footage placed near the area.
Upon investigation, authorities saw Toledo taking the bike away without Bonaviente’s consent. Barangay officials eventually located and arrested Toledo, who is now under custody of the Pandacan Police Station.
