Vice President Leni Robredo’s net trust rating dropped to “good” from “very good” in the first quarter 2018 Social Weather Stations survey.
The nationwide survey conducted from March 23 to 27 among 1,200 respondents found out that 58 percent had much trust, 23 percent were undecided, and 18 percent had little trust in the Vice President for a net trust rating of +39 (percent much trust minus percent little trust) which was classified by SWS as good.
It is down 13 points and one grade from the very good +52 (66 percent much trust, 14 percent little trust) net trust rating in the fourth quarter survey conducted by the SWS last December.
SWS terminology for net trust ratings are +70 and above, “excellent;” +50 to +69, “very good;” +30 to +49, “good;” +10 to +29, “moderate;” +9 to -9 “neutral;” -10 to -29 “poor;” -30 to -49 “bad;” -50 to -69 “very bad;” and -70 and below “execrable.”
Robredo’s net trust rating was a moderate +29 when it was first surveyed by the SWS in December 2015. It rose to good levels from January 2016 to May 2016, ranging from +30 to +45, and reached very good levels of +63 in June 2016 and +58 in September 2016.
It returned to good levels from December 2016 to September 2017, ranging from +30 to +45. It rebounded to very good +52 in December 2017 and went back to good +39 in March 2018.
Net trust ratings of the Vice President remained very good in Visayas and moderate in Metro Manila. However, it fell by one grade from very good to good in the rest of Luzon and Mindanao.
