BATANGAS – Three suspected drug peddlers fell dead following separate buy-bust operations here. Senior Inspector Hazel Luma-ang, Batangas police Information Officer, said one of the drug suspects, identified as Abraham Awat, died after shooting it out with operatives at around 7:48 p.m.
Sunday, in Barangay Tugtog. Police recovered a .45 pistol and two sachets of shabu from Awat. A few hours later, around 11 p.m., suspect Roderick Fajilan was shot dead in Barangay Sta Clara. Six sachets of shabu as with a .38 caliber handgun were recovered from Fajilan.
Meanwhile, suspect Randy Topacio was gunned down at around 12:35 a.m., Monday. Police recovered a .45 pistol and one sachet containing shabu from Topacio.
