The Duterte administration’s net satisfaction rating declined from the record-high “excellent” +70 last December to a “very good” +58 last March, the latest Social Weather Stations survey showed.
The first quarter survey involving 1,200 adult Filipino respondents found out that 69 percent were satisfied, 18 percent were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, and 11 percent were dissatisfied with the general performance of the administration.
This brings the administration’s net satisfaction rating to very good +58, down 12 points and one grade from the record-high excellent +70 last December.
The SWS said the decline in the general net satisfaction rating of the administration was due to declines in the net satisfaction scores in Balance Luzon, Mindanao, and Metro Manila, combined with a steady score in the Visayas.
In the Visayas, the administration’s net satisfaction rating has been very good +57 from September 2017 to March.
It stayed “excellent” in Mindanao, at +72 in March but down by 15 points from the record-high +87 in December.
It also stayed very good in Balance Luzon, at +50 last March, although down by 17 points from the record-high +67 in December.
However, it downgraded from excellent to very good in Metro Manila, at +58 in March, down by 13 points from the record-high +71 in December.
