TUY, Batangas – A senior citizen was found dead inside his parked vehicle here Monday. Narciso Eguia, 70, was identified by his own son, Roberto, to Senior Inspector Domingo Ballesteros, Tuy police chief.
The deceased’s body was found around 7 p.m. seated inside his vehicle, which was parked in the middle of a sugarcane plantation in Barangay Luntal. He bore a bullet wound to the head.
According to Roberto, his father has been renting out lands to farmers for years and has no known enemies.
Ballesteros is not ruling out foul play noting there was no empty shell found at the crime scene.
