Excitement is reaching a fever pitch as some of the brightest stars in the Philippine Superliga take center stage for the PSL Silay Tour starting today at the Natalio G. Velez Sports and Cultural Center.
PSL ambassador Aby Maraño of F2 Logistics and newly-crowned Grand Prix champion Mika Reyes of Petron lead a stellar cast of the league’s notable protagonists in a pair of friendly matches that aim to bring the PSL closer to fans.
A motorcade and light training session where fans were given the chance to rub elbows and mingle with their volleyball idols got the ball rolling for the league’s first-ever foray in the Visayan city.

The PSL stars will hold a volleyball clinic at 9 a.m. tomorrow before embarking on another friendly match at 5 pm.
“It is an honor for us to welcome the PSL stars. We’re looking forward to a fun-filled weekend with them,” said Silay City mayor Mark Golez, adding that young players from St. John’s Institute, Sta. Teresita Academy and Living Stones International are set to benefit from the volleyball clinic.
