CAMP GEN. PANTALEON GARCIA, IMUS, Cavite – Nine suspected members of the “Termite Gang” were arrested in Noveleta, this province, yesterday.
Senior Supt. William M. Segun, Cavite Police Provincial Office director, withheld the identities of the suspects for the meantime pending interrogation.
Segun said they received information about the group, prompting police to place them under surveillance for a month.
Police hit paydirt when the group was arrested by police while robbing Burgos Panwhop in Barangay Poblacion.
The arresting team is composed of the Cavite PPO-Intelligence Branch, Mobile Patrol Unit, Noveleta Police, and the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Cavite.
