The intertropical convergence zone, the converging of winds coming from the northeast and southeast and causing thunderstorms and rain showers, will affect Mindanao and parts of Visayas today.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Western Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula.
On the other hand, the warm and humid easterly winds will affect the rest of the country.
PAGASA said localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Tomorrow until Tuesday, PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies apart from isolated rain showers or thunderstorms as the easterly winds will continue to prevail across the country.
By Wednesday until Friday, the Zamboanga Peninsula and the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms as the ITCZ is expected to oscillate towards Mindanao.
