Meryll Soriano is quite happy these days even if she has no partner.
“I’m okay. I haven’t been in a relationship for a long time (but) I’m very okay…walang reason to be sad or to cry about,” said Meryll, during a recent interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
“I think I worked hard on building that,” she added. “Sort of healing from my past relationships. That’s the reason why I’m happy.”
Meryll, 35, daughter of game show host Willie Revillame and niece of actress Maricel Soriano, is not keen on entering another relationship at the moment.
“Kung meron mang dumating ngayon, it’s going to be a bonus. It’s not something that I’m looking for. It’s just something that I am happy to have (if ever),” she explained.
Apparently, she has done some self assessment following her failed marriage with actor Bernard Palanca in 2006.
“Importante siya eh. Lalo na ‘yung (part na) what have I done wrong? If you don’t do that, you will always have someone to blame. But it’s a two-way relationship. And relationships are difficult,” she said.
Her source of happiness these days? Her son Elijah.
“He’s 10 and he is so smart! He’s my partner so I’m very happy about that. Hindi na siya cute. Guwapo na siya.”
Asked for a message to a possible future partner, Meryll said: “Galingan mo! I’m just here!’’
