PARANG, MAGUINDANAO – A man is facing charges for posing himself as policeman in lieu of his brother who is a police officer who had gone AWOL (Absent Without Leave).
Supt. Jonathan De Gracia, deputy police director for Maguindanao, said police authorities arrested Jaded Mangondacan,37, who posed himself as a police officer using the identity of his brother, PO2 Marco Mangondacan assigned in Lanao del Sur who went AWOL after he left the country to work abroad.
Mangondacan was arrested inside the headquarters of the Police Regional Office-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao here after police authorities were tipped off that he is a bogus policeman.
