Kris Aquino has seemingly calmed down; backtracking from an earlier showdown she posed to Mocha Uson, claiming the one time singer-model-turned-communications assistant has won.
In a 17-minute long Facebook Live video, she posted only about an hour after Uson posted her non-apology, she said, “Mocha you win. You win because you hurt me and I think that is what you wanted to do. Nanalo ka dahil patuloy mong inapak-apakan ang pagkatao, ang alaala ng dalawang tao na pinakamamahal ko…”
She added, “Yung sinabi ko na hindi kita uurungan, nagdasal ako at narealize ko, ‘Bakit pa?’ Kahit anong kabutihan ang ipakita ko sa inyo, kahit anong pagsubok ko na maayos natin ‘to, ayaw niyo ayusin eh.”
Addressing Mocha’s insistence that the video she posted of Kris’ father, the late Senator Benigno Aquino, being kissed by two unidentified women, was not about her, she said, “I will say you have a point – it is not about me. It is about my father. But you have to accept this fact: Laman at dugo niya ako at karapatan ko na magsalita para sa kanya. Sabi mo, itinumbas sa gawain ng isang lider. Sino humalik? Ganon kasimple…”
She added, “Yung sinasabi mong it is not about me, I am sorry, when it is about my mother and my father, it will always be about me. Kahit sinong anak, kapag magulang na (ang pinag-uusapan), hate man nila ako, I think mag-a-agree sa akin… kasi lahat tayo, kahit ano man ang kulay natin, mahal natin ang mga magulang natin.”
Kris then expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Special Assistant to the President Christopher ‘Bong’ Go, for apologizing to her.
She wondered, however, why Mocha can’t do the same.
“Yung kanang kamay ng presidente, siya nagawa niyang mag-sorry sa akin, pero si Miss Uson, galit pa,” she said.
She went on, “I did my share. I tried to reach out, I humbled myself. Alam mo yung feeling na ‘yung ikaw na ‘yung binato pero ikaw pa rin ‘yung nagabot ng kamay dahil isa lang naman ang gusto nating lahat eh, ang mapabuti ang Pilipinas?”
“Mocha, I’ll end this. You’re right, this was not about Kris Aquino, this was a reminder that Filipinos still love and respect Cory and Ninoy Aquino,” she added.
But just when everybody thought that would be the end of it, Kris then added in a separate Instagram post:
“I was asked by my sisters to be humble & I tried, but I’m sorry- she doesn’t deserve my #humility. Pasensya na po, MATIGAS ANG ULO NG BUNSO… Anywhere, anytime… FACE TO FACE, I challenge you to show me your courage. My Pantene hair & Ultherapy face are ready for you. My fighting #Love creamy matte lipstick will outlast you.”
And how did Mocha react to this?
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, she wrote an appeal to media. It read, “Huwag niyo na akong pagaksayahan ng oras niyo. HINDI AKO TATAKBO. Wala akong ambisyon sa pulitika. Yung isa na lang ang pansinin niyo. I am not an attention seeker. Nandito lamang po ako bi-lang trabahante ng gobyerno.”
