A fun-filled weekend is in store for Philippine Superliga fans in Baguio City as the league’s notable stars play in an exhibition match and other off-court activities.
Spearheaded by league ambassador Aby Marano of former Grand Prix champion F2 Logistics, the PSL All-Star teams will conduct a volleyball clinic before they square off in a friendly battle at 5 p.m. tomorrow at the University of Baguio gym.
But fans will get a chance early to mingle with their favorite PSL players in a meet-and-greet session at 3 p.m.
today at the events place of SM City-Baguio.
The PSL players will also visit the Philippine Military Academy museum and have a boodle fight with the members of its women’s volleyball team before heading back to Manila on Monday.
According to PSL chairman Dr. Philip Ella Juico, the PSL Stars on Tour is one of the league’s noble way of giving back to their fans for their continued support.
“This our way of expressing our gratitude for their unwavering support, not only to the league, but to Philippine volleyball in general,” said Juico, who also expressed his gratitude towards Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan, City Administrator Carlos Canilao and sports coordinators Gauds Gonzales and Paul Rillorta.
