Barangay Ginebra made another tweak to its roster after acquiring Julien Sargent from GlobalPort Batang Pier and parting with Paolo Taha.
The latest PBA trade comes just a day after the Gin Kings acquired Jeff Chan from the Phoenix Fuel Masters.

Taha was barely used in Ginebra which boasts of a loaded guard rotation. He returns to the same team he suited up for in the 2014-15 PBA wars. The former College of St. Benilde cager was the 29th overall draft pick by Kia Sorento in the 2014 PBA Draft.
Barangay Ginebra head coach Tim Cone wished Taha well on Twitter.
Said good bye to Paolo Taha. One of the toughest things I had to do. What a great person he is, and great teammate. We're truly going to miss him, and we wish him the best at Globalport.

I think Paolo is really going to surprise everyone at Global. He's been buried behind his best buddy, MC47, in the rotation, but we all know at Ginebra how dynamic his game is. For sure, he'll blossom over there.

The acquisition of Sargent is expected to ramp up the defensive end over at Ginebra. The former DLSU player was selected fourth in the second round of the 2017 PBA Draft by Magnolia before being traded to GlobalPort.
