The government has allowed another Chinese aircraft to land and refuel in President Duterte’s hometown Davao City, Malacañang confirmed yesterday.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque assured that the necessary protocols were followed in the latest technical stop of the foreign plane over the weekend at the Davao City airport.
He noted that the aircraft made a refueling stop similar to the plane that landed in Davao early this month. “Same as 1st. Refuelling stop. All licenses, permits, and protocols issued and observed,” Roque said.
The Chinese military aircraft made a brief stopover and it was unclear if it was the same seen in Davao City early this month. (Genalyn D. Kabiling)
