The PBA canceled Tuesday’s PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinal game between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Rain or Shine due to inclement weather.
Commissioner Willie Marcial said floods in numerous parts of Metro Manila forced the PBA to reschedule the second game of the best-of-five series to Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“The safety and security of the fans, players and officials are always of utmost importance,” Marcial said in a press release.
Ginebra leads the series, 1-0, after a 102-89 victory last Sunday at the Big Dome.
Also cancelled were NCAA matches at The Arena in San Juan City.
This marked the second time that NCAA senior matches were postponed due to bad weather.
