Two losing skids will definitely come to an end today as four winless teams clash in the 2018 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan City.
San Beda and College of St. Benilde, both nursing back-to-back losses, clash at 2 p.m. while University of Perpetual Help hopes to snap its three-game skid in its 4 p.m. duel with San Sebastian College (0-2).
St. Benilde was close to barging into the win column the last time but its effort fell short and dropped a close decision to the Adamson Lady Falcons.
They dragged the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws into five frames but they ran out of bullets.
This time, the Lady Blazers are determined not to let the opportunity slip away again with Klarisa Abriam, Jan Daguil and Marites Pablo vowing to go all-out as if there’s no more tomorrow.
The trio combined for 37 points the last time.
SBU is likewise aching to barge into the win column after dropping its first two games to FEU and UST.
Teamwork is needed for the Lady Red Spikers after Nieza Viray carried most of the load in their straight-set defeat to the Tigresses.
In the other matchup, Perpetual coach Michael Cariño is still searching for the right combinations after absorbing a 25-10, 25-12, 25-23 loss to University of the Philippines four days back.
