ANNE’S BACK – Imagine, if you can, Anne Curtis singing the aria “Nessum Dorma” from the opera “Turandot.” Well dear Anne did…and the result was at once hilarious and endearing. One thing with Anne, she doesn’t take her singing seriously, making her get away with almost any tune.
Anne’s back on the concert scene in “AnneKulit” set for Aug. 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum with the promise “Last Na ‘To.”
It’s her third Araneta concert, after “Annebisyosa” and “AnneKapal.”
This time, will Anne sing an aria from “Madame Butterfly”? How about one from “Carmen” or “La Traviata”?

SUPPORT – Heard that tickets to “AnneKulit” are selling fast.
Which isn’t surprising at all as Anne is immensely popular.
Also, she has strong support. Real singers Concert Queen Regine Velasquez and Singing Sweetheart Sarah Geronimo and top group Aegis. Plus matinee idol James Reid and current craze Ex-Battalion.
“AnneKulit” is directed by Paul Basinillo, with Louie Ocampo as musical director and Teacher Georcelle as dance director.
Produced by Viva Live, the concert is in celebration of Anne Curtis’ 21st year in showbiz, shining star on the big screen and television.
