George Manozo put an impressive showing to capture the men’s tenpin singles gold in the recent 2018 Asia Pacific Masters Games in Penang, Malaysia.
Competing in the 60-years-old and above class, Manozo bested the field after averaging 200-plus mark in six games.
He posted rounds of 243, 234, 235, 264, 260 and 214.
“Everything seemed to be going my way. I got the right feeling of the lanes early on and I just kept on going until the end,” said Manozo.
Absalon Serrano Jr. of Davao City took the silver with a total score of 1,178 while Malaysian Yeoh Seng Poh settled for the bronze medal with a score of 1,121.
