Earlier, some groups in the city were urging presidential son to run as congressman in the city’s first district.
Councilor Danilo Dayanghirang on Friday, the focal person of the Friends of Polong Duterte said there are clamors from the barangay officials and their constituents not just in the first district, but in the whole city, to convince the former vice mayor to come back in public service.
The former vice mayor along his younger brother Sebastian were invited to join the Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) party founded by his sister Sara and they also took oath yesterday along with the more than 6,000 new members last August.
The presidential son announced during the event of HNP that he will only seek for public office if her sister would allow him to run. (Armando B. Fenequito Jr.)
