BanKo-Perlas and Ateneo-Motolite try to preserve their clean slates when they face separate foes today in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Perlas Spikers seek their third straight win in their 6 p.m. tussle with the Adamson-Akari Lady Falcons while the Lady Eagles aim to follow up of their opening victory in their 4 p.m. meeting with the PetroGazz Angels.
Fresh from a bronze-medal finish at the Vinh Long Television Cup that ended early this week, BanKo-Perlas hopes to sustain its winning drive as it intends to go deep this time.
Out to power the Perlas Spikers are Nicole Tiamzon, Dzi Gervacio, Amanda Villanueva and Joy Dacoron as they challenge a hungry Adamson-Akari side.
At the bottom standings with back-to-back losses from Tacloban and Pocari Sweat-Air Force, the Lady Falcons are eager to regain their bearings with Bernadette Flora and Chiara Permentilla leading the squad.
Like BanKo-Perlas, Ateneo-Motolite is expected to ride on the momentum of its four-set triumph over Pocari/
Kat Tolentino and Bea De Leon will be at the forefront of the Lady Eagles’ attack along with setter Deanna Wong and Kim Gequillana.
