LEMERY, Batangas – Two brothers and a minor were arrested after they were caught transporting 64 slaughtered dogs here Sunday.
A report from Senior Inspector Garry Abregunda, Lemery’s deputy chief of police identified the suspects as Kyth Baybay, 27 years old of Baguio City and his brother Perry Jim Baybay, 44, from La Trinidad, Benguet. Also arrested was Perry’s son who is a minor.
The three were arrested when the Lemery patrol team headed by Abregunda conducted an operations at around 5:30 a.m. in Barangay Mataas na Bayan this town.
The police were able to corner a Toyota Hi-Ace van with plate AHL-749 loaded with around 690 kilos of dog meat which was said to be transported to Baguio City. (Lyka Manalo)
