Media golfers will be trooping to the Villamor Golf Club on Nov. 9 for the 4th Golf Cup of the Association of Philippine Journalists – Samahang Plaridel.
The annual golf tournament organized by the country’s exclusive association of veteran journalists and communicators has attracted a growing number of media golfers vying for bragging rights and exciting prizes courtesy of generous sponsors, including Oriental Group, Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corp., Liwayway Marketing, SM Retail, Ayala Land, GMA Network, Steel Asia, Asia Brewery, MWSS, Agila ng Bayan.
Media partners include Manila Times, Manila Standard and Market Monitor.
Top raffle prize is a free round-trip ticket from Philippine Airlines.
This year’s tournament will be held at the 18-hole, 72-par Villamor golf course that has a largely flat layout and narrow fairway dotted with decades-old trees. Villamor Golf Club is regarded as Metro Manila’s most accessible golf course.
Registration starts at 6:00 AM; tee off at 7:00 AM. Play is sequential.
