Foton downed Cignal, 25-15, 18-25, 25-22, 25-20, and stayed unbeaten in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference yesterday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
CJ Rosario and Mina Aganon were the stars of the show as they roused the Tornadoes from a sluggish second set en route to their second straight victory in the prestigious women’s club tourney bankrolled by Isuzu, Sogo, Senoh, Asics, Mikasa, Mueller, UCPB Gen and Bizooku.
Rosario delivered 13 kills, two blocks and two aces to finish with 17 points while Aganon tallied 14 hits for Foton, which hardly missed the presence of towering frontliners Jaja Santiago and Dindin Manabat.
