The Makati men’s basketball team has forged a partnership with Super Crunch in its ongoing campaign in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Datu Cup.
Team owner Paolo Orbeta announced this on Monday, unveiling their new monicker from Skyscrapers to Super Crunch.
Super Crunch is a chip snack being sold in different variants and is a leading product of PriFood, owned by Enrico Yap Jr.
“It is a matter of finding the best partner and we are thankful for Mr. Yap for the trust in the Makati team,” said Orbeta during its launching inside Dasmariñas Village.
Team owner Paolo Pineda added the partnership will strengthen their goal of winning the championship.
The Makati Super Crunch currently tote an 8-4 mark, just three games behind league leader Bataan Risers.
The squad boasts of skipper Mark Isip, Rudy Lingganay and Ced Ablaza, among others. Cholo Villanueva is the head coach.
