Former President Fidel V. Ramos will lead the ceremonial tee off of the 4th Plaridel Golf Cup Tournament slated tomorrow at the Villamor Air Base Golf Club.
Tee off time starts at 7:00 a.m.
This year’s tournament, organized by the Association of Philippine Journalists Samahang Plaridel Foundation Inc., is being sponsored by Oriental Group, Philippine Airlines, Liwayway Marketing Corp., PAGCOR, GMA Network, Ayala Land Inc., Steel Asia, San Miguel Corp., Agila ng Bayan, Cong. Edgar Erice, Manila Water and Asia Brewery.
Media partners include Manila Standard, Manila Times and Market Monitor. Samahang Plaridel President Rolando Estabillo said the 18-hole golfest seeks to foster goodwill and camaraderie among golfing journalists and their friends.
“We hope media golfers can gather for a friendly round of golf to unwind from our stressful day at the job,” said Mr. Estabillo.
