Five alleged drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Julian Felipe St. in Barangay 12, Caloocan City, Tuesday night.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Rodolfo Tumalad, 33; Jordy Tumalad, 39; both garbage collectors; Jason Roque, 21, plumber; Kurt Christian Bunqui, 21, construction worker; and Jocelyn Padilla, 42, all residents of the area.
Operatives of Caloocan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (CCPS-SDEU) conducted the buy-bust at around 10:30 p.m..
Investigation showed that Tumalad sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer and was arrested after a brief chase with police.
Police then arrested his four cohorts who were caught having a pot session nearby.
Two sachets of suspected shabu, P200 marked money, and assorted drug paraphernalia were recovered from the suspects.
Police brought the suspects and the pieces of evidence to the SDEU for disposition. (Minka Tiangco)
